The DʻAntonio lab focuses on terrestrial ecosystem dynamics and the causes and consequences of changes in plant community composition and ecosystem functioning, particularly nutrient cycling. Research includes experimental use of ecological principles to manage plant community composition during ecological restoration and the causes, consequences and biotic controls over plant invasions.
