All lab work will be performed under the supervision of PI Hillary Young in her lab at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Dr. Young will be responsible for screening small mammal samples collected from each of the three villages studied in the parent grant. All lab work and bioinformatic analyses will be completed by the end of the supplementary funding period ending 2024-09-30. Work from these activities will be reported in manuscripts prepared as part of the parent grant, in addition to independent papers, subject to results.
