A wide variety of research projects are affiliated with the Marine Science Institute.

Many of these projects are interdisciplinary and represent novel collaborations spanning multiple departments, universities, or even connecting to policy. MSI’s affiliated programs aim to be at the leading edge of marine science, whether providing novel decision support tools for marine management, developing a deeper understanding of ecosystem processes, promoting outdoor laboratories for research and education, or investigating innovative approaches to promote sustainable fisheries.
