Abstract

This research project will use a common garden experiment to address specific goals. Goal 1) Determine the traits most important for drought and heat stress tolerance. Goal 2) Quantify between- and within-species trait variation and elucidate the roles of genetics (G) and environment (E) on trait expression. Goal 3) Identify genotypes (populations) best suited for future restoration efforts.
