Abstract

This proposal has the following aims:

  1. Create a seasonal species distribution model for tick phenology across a heterogeneous state for current and future climate scenarios
  2. Develop a novel approach to estimate human activity in suitable tick habitats
  3. Asses spatial overlap between tick and human seasonality to create targeted mitigation strategies that are region specific
