UCSB Researcher and Katherine Esau Director, Cheadle Center for Biodiversity and Ecological Restoration
As the Katherine Esau Director of the Cheadle Center for Biodiversity and Ecological Restoration, I oversee the campus natural history collections and ecological restoration programs. I conduct biodiversity research integrating entomology and data science, with an emphasis on collections-based research, ecomorphology, technology-enabled workflows, and media-arts intersections. My research portfolio uniquely blends arts and science practice.
