I am interested in the ecological and evolutionary forces that shape subtidal animal and algae communities through space and time and how these are influenced by current anthropogenic drivers. As an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow at UCSB, my work aims to understand macroalgal community structure with a view to broadly characterizing how these communities may respond to climate change. I use a combination of GIS, genetic, lab and field work to answer my research questions.
