Jerde will serve as a data scientist and biodiversity expert for the project.  He will conduct analysis across the Sentinel Site Network (SSN), which includes synthesis of eBird data across the approximately 90 sites. The work will include accessing the databases, procuring, cleaning, and analysis of the data using measures of alpha, beta, and gamma diversity.  The work will be conducted in freely available software to ensure transferability to other partner workgroups, agencies, and organizations.
